hello, i’m glad you’re here!
My name is Emma Grace Tysinger, and I am a stage manager in her junior year at Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas, the current Vice President of the PHS Theatre Vagabond officers, and a Texas Thespians Scholar of Distinction.
As a stage manager, my primary goal is to foster a safe environment where my peers can embrace the creativity of authentic theatrical storytelling while also leading an efficient process. Learn more about my approach and other values I strive to uphold by reading my artist statement.
This year, my junior year, I will participate in six of my high school’s seven productions, including being the production stage manager for Disney’s The Little Mermaid, our musical production that involves 120+ students across several fine arts departments. Other roles include sound designer and hair/make-up technician. View more of my resume!
I spent the summer of 2025 honing my technical theatre skills as a part of two amazing productions. In my third year with the program, I was the Production Stage Manager for the Spotlight Cast & Crew full-scale production of Guys and Dolls in June. I also had the privilege of serving as stage management intern for Casa Manana Theatre production of The Lightning Thief, as part of their annual Apprentice Program. I worked alongside professional stage managers, learned higher technical theatre standards and protocols, and worked backstage during performances managing props and assisting actors.
In addition to my work, I devote time to give back to my arts community by serving as a member of the Slaughter Family Arts Awards Student Board. This fall will mark my third year on the board, through which I champion fellow high school student artists throughout the Fort Worth and surrounding area.
